Trust

Trust
Trust and communication are inherently together. Imagine that we have to do with a conversation partner, which we know that - in any distribution - 50% of his statements are disingenuous. Obviously a communication with such a human would not be possible. It would be also impossible for a child to acquire a language in such an environment. Because a child must assumed that people don´t lie in the normal case in its surroundings, for example when they say "This is a ball."
Half-truths and withholding of information affects the conversation quality very negative. Openness and authenticity are required in order to generate trust.
Why is in the leadership communication and trust so important?
Good managers can quickly and directly headed to employees and giving them the feeling of being important. They communicate decisions that are responsible for, personally and at eye level. Only then can be formed a sense of trust and a common base. These people have a high managerial leadership and communication skills. They consider communication as a tool to convey trust.
They do not act, they live their skills in order for these, otherwise they have no chance with their employees. Because when managers acting, the employees act too.

Empathy

Empathy
The term empathy designated to recognize to one´s ability, thoughts, emotions, intentions and personality characteristics of another person or an animal and others one´s own reaction to the feelings of others such as pity, sorrow or pain.
Empathy is a fundamental skill in dealing with other people, because it improves the communication as a key process in the context of social relationships.
This improvement is characterized by fewer misunderstandings, rarer conflict escalation and a quickly implement of the desired communication objectives.
To the extent as that improved the communication by empathy (communication skills), it improved in general the relationship of communication and interaction partners (social competence). Empathy increases overall the efficiency and effectiveness of your communication.
They know how to handle with their own and of the others emotions that they work for you and not against you.

How do we make requests after receive a negative message?

How do we make requests after receive a negative message?
The important thing is that we must listen each other to understand the Situation. A loud voice doesn´t lead to a solution but rather to a discussion and conflict and this make all the things even more complex. People hear negative message grudgingly. But we are all people and we all make mistakes in our live. If the person who sends a negative message is right so we should change our Behavior or approach. But if we will be criticized unjustly then you should defend yourself.

What kind of Observation?

What kind of Observation?
I think the conclusion of Simone Weil "We see the same colors, we hear the same sounds, but not in the same way" is true because people want to hear or see things what they want to hear or see. So we hear commendation gladly but critic grudgingly. The first named lead to higher Motivation and the second named to discouragement.

Powerful Listening

Powerful Listening
Attentive listening is as important as clear and intelligible speech.
Said, is not necessarily heard! Heard is not necessarily understood!
The "partial listening" has
become a common practice. But the "partial listening" is not listening.
The active listener :
• is with its attention to the conversation and his partner and expressed this by positive posture.
• holds the eye contact with his partner.
• shows his interlocutor that he accepted and appreciated.
asks questions to make sure that he understands "what the other meant."
gives the other the time that he needs to express themselves.
The four steps of active listening are:
·         perception: we perceive selectively. That makes sense, because the human would not be able to incur all information, stimulation and impressions.
·         understanding: It is understood what is heard and comprehended. Misunderstandings can arise, for example, if the sender and receiver define notions differently.

·         evaluation: we tend to evaluate what we have heard and understood. Feedback can help to avoid misunderstandings.

·         reaction: verbal and nonverbal responses, such as head nods, eye contact, etc. are techniques that relieve active listening. Active listening can be learned. The "mirroring" of statements ("Did I understand correctly, that ....?") helps to show that the statement was recorded. Who sees that what is heard can be summed up, feels understood.
