Trust
Trust and communication are inherently together. Imagine that we have to do with a conversation partner, which we know that - in any distribution - 50% of his statements are disingenuous. Obviously a communication with such a human would not be possible. It would be also impossible for a child to acquire a language in such an environment. Because a child must assumed that people don´t lie in the normal case in its surroundings, for example when they say "This is a ball."
Half-truths and withholding of information affects the conversation quality very negative. Openness and authenticity are required in order to generate trust.
Why is in the leadership communication and trust so important?
Good managers can quickly and directly headed to employees and giving them the feeling of being important. They communicate decisions that are responsible for, personally and at eye level. Only then can be formed a sense of trust and a common base. These people have a high managerial leadership and communication skills. They consider communication as a tool to convey trust.
They do not act, they live their skills in order for these, otherwise they have no chance with their employees. Because when managers acting, the employees act too.
